Bandhani derived from a Sanskrit word Banda which meaning “to tie” is truly an art that involves dyeing a fabric tied tightly with a thread at several points, producing a variety of patterns and then dyed with extraordinary colors.

This Dupatta is a perfect example of the fusion of two craftsmanship- Kutch meets Banaras making it one of our exclusive pieces. The golden zari work all over and on the border with shikargah (animal motifs) designs in meenakari craftsmanship adds to the beauty of this stunning masterpiece. This very minute bandhani work is done so intricately that it takes about 3-4 months for artisans to complete.

Match it up with any plain kurta and be festive ready.

Fabric: Pure Georgette.

Weave- Banarasi Golden zari work. Jangla works all over with meenakari and Kutch bandhani craftsmanship.

Length – 2.5 meters

Once we receive the order we need one week to weave it and 6-7 weeks for bandhani. When we dye again there could be slight variation in colors as its all handwork.

Note- There may be slight color variations due to photographic reasons.

This is a hand-woven product and any irregularities in the weaving or pattern should not be taken as a defect. These irregularities make every handloom piece unique.

Dupattas lengths can vary by .25 meter, please check with us before buying if you are very specific.
