Jaal work is inherent to Banarasi weaving and this dupatta is the epitome of the craftsmanship of the renowned weavers of Banaras.
Fabric - Pure Georgette Silk - Georgette is a light-weight, crinkled and sheer fabric, displaying an overall bouncy look. A strong absorbent, Georgette is easy to dye and has dull-rough texture. Georgette is made from twisting yarns of silk.
Color - Red
Weave: Bandhani derived from a Sanskrit word Banda which meaning “to tie” is truly an art that involves dyeing a fabric tied tightly with a thread at several points, producing a variety of patterns and then dyed with extraordinary colors.
