"Pakshi" is a collection of Ajrakh-printed sarees and dupattas (long scarves) that feature bird motifs as the central design element. The collection is inspired by the rich avian diversity found in the Kutch region, and the prints are created using traditional block-printing techniques.

The Pakshi collection offers a unique blend of traditional craft and contemporary design, making it a popular choice among those who appreciate handcrafted textiles. The collection includes a range of colors and designs, with each piece being unique due to the handcrafted nature of the craft.

Fabric: Pure Cotton

Craft: Ajrakh

This is an authentic Ajrakh hand-printed product. Only natural dye is used in the making of this product. In Ajrakh printing, the fabric is first printed with a resist paste, and then it is dyed. This process is repeated several times with different kinds of dyes with the aim of achieving the final design in the deep blue and red shades. This process consumes a lot of time. The longer the time span before commencing the next stage, the more rich and vibrant the final print becomes. Hence, this process can consume up to two weeks and consequently results in the formation of exquisitely beautiful and captivating designs of the Ajrakh.

Note- There may be slight color variations due to photographic reasons.

This is a handcrafted product and any irregularities in the design or pattern should not be taken as a defect. These irregularities make every handloom piece unique. Color might bleed so please dry clean for first few washes.
