Fabric -  Pure Banarasi Katan Silk.

Katan silk is known for its lustrous appearance and fine texture. It is often used to create high-quality sarees, dupattas, and other traditional Indian garments. Katan silk sarees are especially popular for their intricate designs and vibrant colors.

The process of creating katan silk is highly specialized and requires skilled artisans. The silk is first sorted, and the highest quality filaments are selected. These filaments are then twisted together by hand, using a process known as "dobhi". The resulting thread is strong and durable, with a unique texture and shine.

Weave – Brocade with Phekua Technique 

 Benarasi brocade is a luxurious fabric that features intricate patterns woven with Zari threads. Made with Mulberry silk, it has a characteristic satiny look and luster. Layers of extra weft yarn create a metallic visual effect, with some brocades having up to seven layers. There are two types of brocades - the continuous or Fekuan and the discontinuous or Kadhuan. Brocade is a key specialty of Banaras fabric and is synonymous with elegant zari work.

Color –Magenta
