श्लोक :
य एनं वेत्ति हन्तारं यश्चैनं मन्यते हतम्।
उभौ तौ न विजानीतो नायं हन्ति न हन्यते॥

न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचिन्
नायं भूत्वा भविता वा न भूयः।
अजो नित्यः शाश्वतोऽयं पुराणो
न हन्यते हन्यमाने शरीरे॥

अर्थ :
काया क्या है, केवल है माया
धरती चाहे जो ऐसी है छाया।
अग्नि, पाषाण, वायु, जल, वसुधा
बस पाँच तत्व का पिंजरा है काया।।

इस पिंजरे में एक हंस है जकड़ा
जो अजर अमर है आत्मा कहलाया।
मृत्यु क्या है केवल है माया
उड़ गया रे हंसा अपने घर आया।।

Fabric - Pure Banarasi Katan Silk

Katan, a luxurious thread, is meticulously crafted by twisting silk filaments in varying numbers to create a sturdy foundation for the fabric. It imparts a distinct structure to the background fabric. Katan is known for its plain weave, using only pure silk threads, resulting in a fabric of exceptional quality.
THE WEAVING TECHNIQUE

The saree is woven using the traditional Kadhiyal technique, a method that allows the body of the saree and the border to be woven in contrasting colors on the same loom. This technique requires exceptional precision from the weaver, as it involves a delicate joining of two different warps and wefts to create a seamless blend.

Adding to its finesse, the saree features cutwork weaving, where extra threads are carefully cut and removed to highlight the zari motifs. This gives the design a crisp, raised effect, making the floral and geometric patterns stand out beautifully against the silk base.

Together, the Kadhiyal border and cutwork technique enhance the richness of the saree, making it look regal and elegant.
