Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before getting started
Yes — this kora silk saree is handwoven in Varanasi using the kadwa technique, where every motif is individually woven into the fabric by hand.
Kora silk is a crisp, lightweight silk with a natural sheen and a slightly sheer finish, known for carrying zari well while remaining easy to wear.
Kadwa is a technique where each motif is woven individually with no floating threads on the reverse. Meenakari refers to the coloured detailing within the motifs — here, the pink leaves and stems of the flower butis.
An ivory cream body with flower-on-stem butis — gold blooms above pink meenakari leaves — leading to a broad floral-jaal zari pallu and border.
Festive gatherings, day functions and intimate celebrations. Pairs well with ruby, garnet or red stone jewellery.
Dry clean only. Store wrapped in muslin cloth away from direct light and moisture.
