Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before getting started
Yes — this kora silk saree is handwoven in Varanasi using the kadwa technique, where every motif is individually woven into the fabric by hand.
Kora silk is a crisp, lightweight silk with a natural sheen and a slightly sheer finish, known for carrying zari well while remaining easy to wear.
Kadiyal is a technique where the border is woven in a colour contrasting the body, interlocked directly into the weave rather than attached separately — one of the most skilled Banarasi methods.
Sona-rupa refers to the use of both gold (sona) and silver (rupa) zari in a single design, seen here in the floral butis.
Weddings, festive gatherings and celebrations. Pairs well with contrasting jewellery to set off the colour.
Dry clean only. Store wrapped in muslin cloth away from direct light and moisture.
