PRODUCT DETAILS
Fabric - Pure Banarasi Katan Silk.
Katan is characterized by its plain weave, where pure silk threads are seamlessly intertwined to produce a fabric of exceptional quality and elegance. It's a testament to the skilled craftsmanship that goes into making each piece a work of art.
Tested zari or Half Fine Zari: It is also called imitation zari because it has the external features of real zari and thus, resembles the real zari in terms of shine. This variety is similar to real zari except copper lametta used in place of silver and silver gilding is done on copper wire. For gold zari, the tested zari is electroplated with gold solution.
THE WEAVING TECHNIQUE
Weave – Kadhua Weave mor boota with meenakari with jardozi hand embroidery.
Kadhua is an exclusive technique of handloom weaving in Varanasi region, and it cannot be imitated on power loom. One piece of Kadhua saree takes 3-4 months engaging at least three persons to complete. It is a pure handloom product produced only in this region
Craft : Zardozi and Resham
Zardozi Embroidery: This timeless Indian art involves skilled artisans crafting intricate designs using metallic threads, beads, stones, and sequins. Zardozi, meaning "gold embroidery," showcases the rich heritage of India, where each piece is a masterpiece.
