Birds mid-flight and feathers mid-fall — scattered freely across the black gajji silk ground in cream, indigo, and maroon. The composition breathes — motifs placed with enough space between them that the black ground is as much a part of the design as the birds themselves. Small floral sprigs and leaf forms fill the gaps without crowding, keeping the body light and unhurried.

The top and bottom lotus borders are wide and emphatic — bold indigo blooms on cream, a strong horizontal anchor to the openness of the body. The pallu side builds in density: a running floral kalgha scroll in maroon and indigo on black, then a peacock feather drop row in cream and indigo. From open body to dense border — the dupatta moves through registers of detail as it unfolds.
