This sage green Katan silk carries horizontal rows of chameli bel across its entire length fine branch sprigs bearing white jasmine flowers and pale sky blue leaves, kadwa-woven in meenakari silk with a precision that only the individual-shuttle technique allows. The bel runs in gentle diagonal waves rather than rigid horizontal lines, giving the body a softness and movement that contradicts its density of detail. Each flower is distinct. Each branch turns slightly differently. This is not a repeat — it is a drawing, rendered in silk, repeated with the patience that only a handloom permits.

The pallu and border are wide plain zari — warm, deep gold with a fine geometric band at the inner edge. The contrast between the delicate meenakari body and the authority of the real zari border is the defining quality of this piece.

For weddings, significant ceremonies, and occasions that deserve something made with full attention.
