This technique involves dyeing a fabric that is tightly tied with a thread at various points, resulting in a variety of patterns depending on how the cloth is fastened. Bandhani primarily utilizes natural colors, and as it is a tie and dye process, dying is done by hand, allowing for the best colors and combinations in Bandhani.
