A pastel multicolour rangkat katan silk saree handwoven in Varanasi, the body built up in soft colour bands — lilac, lime, peach pink, ivory and butter yellow — each stripe finished with silver-and-cream zari buti. A delicate temple-tooth kangura edge marks the seam between each colour, and the pallu opens into a soft floral jaal in cream and pale gold.

Rangkat is one of the most demanding Banarasi techniques. The colour bands aren't dyed or printed onto the cloth; each section of warp is woven in a different colour, joined seam to seam on the loom, so the rainbow is built thread by thread. In this pastel palette the weave feels especially soft — a quieter, more romantic take on the rangkat tradition.

Free shipping across India and worldwide.

Suited to daytime weddings, engagements, festive lunches and intimate celebrations — pairs well with polki, pearl or rose-gold jewellery.
