A dense gold zari diamond jaal covers the black georgette ground — each unit outlined in gold and enclosing an elaborate multicolour floral buti built from bandhani dot work in orange, red, teal, and gold. The butis are generous in scale, filling each diamond fully, so the body reads as a continuous field of bloom rather than a scattered pattern. The gold zari trellis holds it all in place — structure and ornament in the same line.

The border is the piece's most elaborate statement — a wide dense phulwar jaal in green, gold, purple, orange, and cream on black, flowers and scrolling stems covering the band completely. The pallu carries large kalgha butis in multicolour on a gold tissue ground, rich and unhurried. A dupatta for bridal occasions and moments that call for full presence.

THE WEAVING TECHNIQUE

Weave - Cutwork

The cutwork weave technique, also known as Jangla, embodies intricate artistry. It involves the intricate weaving of vegetation motifs like creepers, flowers, and birds, reminiscent of a jungle. These exquisite patterns are exclusively woven in gold and silver zari threads on a Jacquard loom, creating an opulent and ornate fabric.
