Fabric - Pure Banarasi Katan Silk.
Katan is a thread prepared by twisting a different number of silk filaments according to requirements giving a firm structure to the background fabric. Katan is a plain-woven fabric with pure silk threads. It consists of two lines twisted together and is mainly used for the warp of light materials.
Weave–Kadwa
Kadhua is an exclusive handloom weaving technique in the Varanasi region, and it cannot be imitated on a power loom. One piece of Kadhua saree takes 3-4 months, engaging at least three persons to complete. It is a pure handloom product produced only in this region.
