Katan is a thread, prepared by twisting a different number of silk filaments according to requirements giving a firm structure to the background fabric. Katan is a plain woven fabric with pure silk threads

The Kinkhab saree is crafted using an elaborate and luxurious weaving technique that originated in Varanasi. This technique involves densely weaving gold and silver zari threads on a pure silk base, creating opulent patterns and motifs. The intricate designs, often inspired by nature, Mughal art, or royal themes, give the saree a tapestry-like appearance. The heavy use of zari threads in the Kinkhab weaving ensures a rich, embossed texture, making it a symbol of grandeur and heritage in Banarasi textiles.

• For orders below SGD 400, we have a shipping charge of SGD 60
