Fabric - Pure Georgette Silk

Georgette is a lightweight, crinkled, sheer fabric displaying an overall bouncy look. A strong absorbent, Georgette is easy to dye and has a dull-rough texture. Georgette is made from twisting yarns of silk.

Weave - Phekua Jaal in sona rupa zari

Blouse - Plain with Border

Extra loose floated thread on the backside, which is not woven in design, is removed from that pattern. These designs provide a transparent look. Jasmine and marigold floral designs are used in cutwork. Threads are cut manually.    

Bandhani derived from the Sanskrit word Banda which means “to tie” is truly an art that involves dyeing a fabric tied tightly with a thread at several points, producing a variety of patterns, and then dyeing with great colors.

This is a hand-woven product; any irregular weaving or pattern should not be considered a defect. On the contrary, these irregularities make every handloom piece unique.
