Forest green and mustard — two colours, no more, and between them a complete world. The body is a geometric octagon grid in deep green, each unit enclosing a bird form rendered in mustard against the green ground, four-petal leaf units filling the junctions between. The composition is dense and continuous, covering the ground completely without feeling heavy — the restraint of a two-colour palette doing the work that other designs leave to embellishment.

The border layers further narrative: a running animal band — deer or horses mid-stride within a geometric frame — sits between a lotus band above and a peacock feather drop row at the outer edge. Every element constructed through hand block work, one pass at a time, the mustard and green building up into something that is entirely greater than its two parts.
