Hand Block Pure Cotton Ajrakh Stole in Black and Rust Red

Hand block ajrakh tradition on pure cotton, this stole sets a large geometric star medallion jaal against a deep black ground. Each medallion sits in a lobed rust red frame with ivory detailing and soft indigo accents. A floral vine border with rust red rosettes and dotted edges runs along the length.

The end panel builds in layered bands: a floral vine, a diamond lattice of ivory and indigo squares linked by rust red scrollwork, a second vine, and a row of pointed arches filled with florals. Small hanging buds drop from the arches into a plain black end finished with maroon tassels.

Ajrakh comes from Sindh and Kutch, where the craft traditionally builds a pattern through several rounds of printing, resist and dyeing. Pure cotton keeps it soft and breathable, comfortable to wear through a warm day.

Wear it over an ivory or rust kurta, or with an all-black outfit.
