A type of loom called Drawloom or ‘Jalla’ was used to weave a brocade fabric. A Banarasi brocade is made using Mulberry silk that gives it a characteristic satiny look and luster. Mulberry silk is one of the finest, most expensive silks, made from the leaves of the Mulberry tree
