Extra loose floated thread on the backside, which is not woven in design, is removed from that pattern. These designs provide a transparent look. Jasmine, marigold floral designs are used in cutwork. Threads are cut manually.
Bandhani, derived from the Sanskrit word Banda which means “to tie,” is truly an art that involves dyeing a fabric tied tightly with a thread at several points, producing a variety of patterns, and then staining with extraordinary colors.
Note- There may be slight color variations due to photographic reasons.
This is a hand-woven product; any irregular weaving or pattern should not be considered a defect. These irregularities make every handloom piece unique.
