Weave – Kadhua Weave with meenakari
Kadhua is an exclusive handloom weaving technique in the Varanasi region, and it cannot be imitated on a power loom. One piece of Kadhua saree takes 3-4 months, engaging at least three persons to complete. It is a pure handloom product produced only in this region.
Tested zari or Half Fine Zari: It is also called imitation zari because it has the external features of real zari and thus, resembles the real zari in terms of shine. This variety is similar to real zari, except copper lametta is used in place of silver and silver gilding on copper wire. For gold zari, the tested zari is electroplated with a gold solution.
Blouse– Plain with a thick zari border.
Note- There may be slight color variations due to photographic reasons.
This is a hand-woven product and any irregularities in the weaving or pattern should not be considered a defect. These irregularities make every handloom piece unique.
