Leheriya, the diagonal ripple of Rajasthan, woven the Banaras way. Slanting bands of sunshine yellow, soft peach and pista green run the full length of this georgette, and between every band flows a fine bel of gold zari leaves, so the whole drape moves like light on water.
Rows of kangura temple points in gold edge the borders, and the pallu opens into a broad field of woven gold zari, closed by a sea green anchal with a flash of pink at the selvedge. The palette does the celebrating for you.
This is a haldi morning waiting to happen. Drape it over a plain yellow or white suit, or use it to warm up green separates. Light, airy and full of colour without a single heavy inch.
