PRODUCT DETAILS

The Weaving Technique

Weave - Kadwa

Kadhua is an exclusive and unparalleled handloom weaving technique that finds its origins in the Varanasi region. Its unparalleled intricacy and craftsmanship cannot be duplicated by power looms. The creation of a single Kadhua saree is an arduous labor of love, spanning a meticulous 3-4 month period and engaging the expertise of at least three highly skilled artisans. This is an epitome of pure handloom artistry, a masterpiece solely born in the Varanasi region, serving as an embodiment of the profound heritage and craftsmanship associated with this exceptional textile tradition.
