A kora silk ektara jamdani saree in soft sky blue, its body scattered with tiny multicolour buti, delicate sprigs in mustard, coral, teal and lilac catching the light like scattered petals. The pallu opens into a full wildflower meadow, tall grasses and clustered blooms in a rich, painterly palette rendered in ektara jamdani, closing against a plain gold border with a rust pink edge.

The transition from the fine scatter on the body to the dense meadow at the pallu gives this saree real narrative movement, quiet to abundant across its length. Kora keeps the fabric light and airy, letting the colours sit softly rather than heavily on the surface.

This is a preferable fabric for summers.

Kadua is the traditional art of hand-stitched designs on pure silk yarn which is is a painstaking technique that requires skill and effort. Besides being labor-intensive the traditional kadhua also requires skill and dexterity.
