Fabric - Pure Tussar Silk
Tussar silk is an exquisite thread obtained from a wide-winged moth that is slightly yellowish-brown in color. Tussar is mainly valued for its texture, charm and natural gold color, which is unusually rich and deep. It is the primary kind in the silk which has a lustrous, bright, soft hand feel and has the highest wear resistance in the natural fabric.
Weave - Kadhua with gold zari
Koniya, or corner motifs, is an ancient banarasi handloom weaving technique where the meeting point of the body of the saree and the pallu or aanchal (koniya) features prominent intricately weaved motifs, usually paisleys, independent of the design on the body of the saree. Since the motif is separately weaved it’s a time and labour consuming process and hence adds to the exclusiveness of the saree.
