Gold and silver brocades referred to as Kimkhwab or Kinkhab- ‘kin’ means gold and ‘khwab’ means dream – a ‘golden dream’. & “little” (kam) “dream” (khab) – a ‘little dream’. Kinkhab is the best-known brocades from Varanasi. Its specialty is the use of profuse gold or silver thread that sometimes the silk background is hardly visible. Brocade is the woven pattern which is purely decorative and independent of the structure of the cloth which is achieved using extra pattern weft or extra warp.
Fabric - Pure Banarasi Katan Silk.
Katan is a thread, prepared by twisting a different number of silk filaments according to requirement gives a firm structure to the background fabric. Katan is a plain-woven fabric with pure silk threads.
Weave – Kadhua jangla with kimkhab work.
Kadhua is an exclusive technique of handloom weaving in Varanasi region, and it can not be imitated on a power loom. The cost and time in making a piece of kadhua saree depend on its design and color. It is different from embroidery, as all the work are done on the loom only while weaving.
Vegetation motifs scroll and spread on silk. Beautiful gold creepers and silver flowers embellished Jangla Sari. Meena work also used in Jal Jangla designs. Running creepers are brocaded on the sari and the end panel combines with motifs of dense forest or the field.

Blouse– Plain with a thick zari border.
