Fabric: Pure Mashru Silk

Mashru silk has a silk warp and a cotton weft and warp-faced fabric, or sateen which means that the face of the cloth is predominantly silk and the reverse is cotton. It is a lightweight fabric and as soft as butter.

The Satin Tanchoi Mashru weave is a highly skilled handloom technique that interlocks silk threads in a satin weave to achieve a glossy, seamless finish. Unlike traditional brocade, Tanchoi weaving does not leave floating threads on the reverse, ensuring a refined drape. The Mashru weave, historically renowned for blending silk and cotton, enhances durability while maintaining elegance.
