The dupatta is made of pure Katan silk and has the illustrious Kadhua floral jaal weave on ot, Jaal weave is inherent to Banarasi weaving and this dupatta is the epitome of the craftsmanship of the renowned weavers of Banaras.
Fabric - Pure Moonga Silk
It is known for its resilience. It can be given a fine texture by dry ironing it in a damp state or it can attain a crushed look by not getting ironed. This is one unique fabric where the golden luster increases with age. Moonga silk is very soft in texture and very easy to drape.
Color - Powder Blue
Weave - Kadhua with floral jaal and brush painted
Kadhua is an exclusive technique of handloom weaving in Varanasi region, and it cannot be imitated on a power loom. Each motif is woven separately and its finished and look is the same from both sides. One piece of Kadhua saree takes 3-4 months engaging at least three persons to complete. It is a pure handloom product produced only in this region.
Once the dying in done, skilled weavers add colors to the zari bootas by brush painting on it.

This is a hand-woven product and any irregularities in the weaving or pattern should not be taken as a defect. These irregularities make every handloom piece unique.
