This is a beautiful Banarsi Lehenga in Pure Handloom Banarasi Georgette fabric from shikargah collection. The intricate woven elephant motifs all over make it an unmatchable example of excellent craftsmanship.

Pure Georgette Silk. - Georgette is a light-weight, crinkled and sheer fabric, displaying an overall bouncy look. A strong absorbent, Georgette is easy to dye and has dull-rough texture. Georgette is made from twisting yarns of silk.

Georgette is a lightweight, sheer, and slightly crinkled fabric known for its bouncy texture. It is made from twisted yarns of silk or synthetic fibers. Georgette has a dull and rough texture, drapes beautifully, and is easy to dye.

THE WEAVING TECHNIQUE

Weave - Cutwork

The cutwork weave technique, also known as Jangla, embodies intricate artistry. It involves the intricate weaving of vegetation motifs like creepers, flowers, and birds, reminiscent of a jungle. These exquisite patterns are exclusively woven in gold and silver zari threads on a Jacquard loom, creating an opulent and ornate fabric.
