Banarasi silk saree is undoubtedly the queen of all sarees. Its design, beauty, elegance, and charm is unmatchable. This saree is inspired by the famous Chikari embroidery of Lucknow. The word Chikankari has been derived from a Persian word Chakin or Chakeen, which means creating delicate patterns on fabric. Chikankari is the embroidery work done with the white cotton thread on fine white cotton material. Chikankari is also called as shadow work.
Fabric - Pure Banarasi Katan Silk.
Katan is a thread, prepared by twisting a different number of silk filaments according to requirement gives a firm structure to the background fabric. Katan is a plain-woven fabric with pure silk threads.
Weave – Kadhua weave with Silver zari
Kadua is the traditional art of hand-stitched designs on pure silk yarn which is is a painstaking technique that requires skill and effort. Besides being labor-intensive the traditional kadua also requires skill and dexterity.

Blouse – Plain with border.
