Kadhua weave is inherent to Banarasi weaving and this dupatta is the epitome of the craftsmanship of the renowned weavers of Banaras.

Kadhua is an exclusive technique of handloom weaving in Varanasi region, and it cannot be imitated on a power loom. Each motif is woven separately and its finished and look is the same from both sides. One piece of Kadhua saree takes 3-4 months engaging at least three persons to complete. It is a pure handloom product produced only in this region.

This is a hand-woven product and any irregularities in the weaving or pattern should not be taken as a defect. These irregularities make every hand loom piece unique.

Dupattas lengths can vary by .25 meter, please check with us before buying if you are very specific.
