The dupatta is made of pure Georgette silk in Grey colour and has the illustrious bird motifs weaved on it. Jaal weave is inherent to Banarasi weaving, and this Handloom Banarasi Silk Dupatta is the epitome of the craftsmanship of the renowned weavers of Banaras. 

Fabric - Pure Georgette Silk

Georgette is a lightweight, crinkled, sheer fabric displaying an overall bouncy look. A strong absorbent, Georgette is easy to dye and has a dull-rough texture. Georgette is made from twisting yarns of silk. 

Color -Shaded

Weave - Phekua Jaal with Meenakari

Extra loose floated thread on the back side, which is not woven in designing is removed from that pattern. These designs provide a transparent look. Jasmine and marigold floral arrangements are used in cut work. Threads are cut manually.

This is a hand-woven product, and any irregular weaving or pattern should not be considered a defect. These irregularities, on the contrary,  make every handloom piece unique.
