Weave – Ekatara Jamdani Weave
Ektara Naka: The designs are one of the finest. There are 5 ends in one dent but in the Pagia they are separated into two, three ends and two ends each. Therefore two picks have to be inserted as two Pagias have to be lifted. This allows for a greater flow in the movement of design. Three ends in one Naka and two ends in another Naka.
Real Zari is made from fine silver or gold thread is drawn from silver or gold alloys, flattened by passing it under equal pressure rotating rollers. The flattened silver threads are wound on the base yarn, usually made of silk.
Note- There may be slight color variations due to photographic reasons.
This is a hand-woven product and any irregularities in the weaving or pattern should not be taken as a defect. On the contrary, these irregularities make every handloom piece unique.

The Weaving Technique
Kadhua is an exclusive technique of handloom weaving in Varanasi region, and it can not be imitated on power loom. The cost and time in making a piece of kadhua saree depend on its design and color. It is different from embroidery, as all the work are done on the loom only while weaving.
Real Zari is a type of thread used in weaving, which is made from fine silver or gold. The process involves flattening the silver or gold thread by passing it through rotating rollers with equal pressure. The flattened threads are then wound around a base yarn, usually made of silk, to create the intricate patterns and designs that make up traditional Indian textiles such as saris and wedding attire. The use of real zari adds a luxurious and opulent feel to the fabric, making it a popular choice for special occasions and formal events.
