Fabric- PureGeorgette
Georgette is a light-weight, crinkled and sheer fabric, displaying an overall bouncy look. A strong absorbent, Georgette is easy to dye and has dull-rough texture. Georgette is made from twisting yarns of silk.
Weave– Cutwork
Jangla technique includes heavy and intricate weaving with vegetation motifs, such as creepers, flowers and birds, which are representative of a jungle. The patterns are woven only in gold and silver zari, on the Jacquard loom.
Gota patti or gota work is a type of Indian embroiderythat originated in Rajasthan, India. It uses the applique technique. Small pieces of zari ribbon are applied onto the fabric with the edges sewn down to create elaborate patterns. The making of Gota is a lengthy and time-consuming process.
