Introducing a stunning Banarasi Handloom dupatta from Khinkhwab, designed to elevate your ethnic attire with a touch of your favorite color. Made from pure Georgette silk, this exclusive dupatta showcases the lightweight, crinkled, and sheer qualities of the fabric, lending it a lively appearance. Georgette is renowned for its ability to absorb dyes easily and its textured, slightly rough surface. It is crafted by twisting silk yarns together.

Fabric - Pure Georgette Silk

Georgette is a lightweight, sheer, and slightly crinkled fabric known for its bouncy texture. It is made from twisted yarns of silk or synthetic fibers. Georgette has a dull and rough texture, drapes beautifully, and is easy to dye.

Color - White with Meenakari

Weave - Phekua Jaal in Gold  zari & Meenakari

The backside of the fabric is meticulously handled to eliminate any loose threads that are not woven into the design, creating a transparent appearance. Intricate cutwork techniques featuring floral motifs, such as jasmine and marigold designs, are incorporated. Each thread is manually cut with precision to achieve the desired level of detail and artistry.

Craft: Resham Embroidery

Length – 2.5 Meters

THE WEAVING TECHNIQUE

Weave - Cutwork

The cutwork weave technique, also known as Jangla, embodies intricate artistry. It involves the intricate weaving of vegetation motifs like creepers, flowers, and birds, reminiscent of a jungle. These exquisite patterns are exclusively woven in gold and silver zari threads on a Jacquard loom, creating an opulent and ornate fabric.
