A katan silk fabric in alternating pink and orange stripes, handwoven with a kadwa chrysanthemum boota placed rhythmically across the body. Each bloom is woven individually in the kadwa technique, its layered petals rendered in cream with a small coloured centre in contrast tones of purple and teal.
The striped ground gives this fabric a bold, structured character, while the fuller chrysanthemum boota brings in real floral weight without covering the surface entirely. Katan keeps the hand smooth and the fall clean for tailoring.
Cut it into a kurta set, jacket, blouse or lehenga panel. The stripe and boota combination reads equally well as a standalone piece or against a plain contrast.
