Royal blue at the edges, aqua at the centre — the ombre shifts across the georgette ground with the gradual quality of water moving from deep to shallow. Across this gradient, a large ogee mehrab jaal is built entirely from bandhani dot work — each arch unit filled with dense meenakari floral sprigs in orange, pink, green, white, and red, the dots so fine and so densely packed that the motifs read as painted rather than tied. Silver zari outlines each arch, giving the jaal its structure and its shimmer.

The pallu is wide and dense a phulwar jaal in silver zari, flowers and scrolling stems covering the ground completely. A piece for bridal occasions and significant celebrations, where the craft is the point.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Fabric - Georgette Dupatta

Georgette is a lightweight, sheer, and slightly crinkled fabric known for its bouncy texture. It is made from twisted yarns of silk or synthetic fibers. Georgette has a dull and rough texture, drapes beautifully, and is easy to dye.

The Weaving Technique

Weave - Cutwork

The cutwork weave technique, also known as Jangla, embodies intricate artistry. It involves the intricate weaving of vegetation motifs like creepers, flowers, and birds, reminiscent of a jungle. These exquisite patterns are exclusively woven in gold and silver zari threads on a Jacquard loom, creating an opulent and ornate fabric.
