Blue this deep is rare in bandhani, and this dupatta makes the most of it. On a ground of handwoven pure gajji silk, thousands of knots are tied by hand and dyed to leave a dense jaal of white dots glowing against royal blue, with soft yellow accents scattered through.
Fan tailed peacock motifs spread across the upper field, keri rows and bel vines frame the borders, and a bold chakri medallion anchors the centre. The drape finishes in a woven gold tissue pallu with a fine gota edge for festive light.
Throw it over an ivory chikankari suit, pair it with a gold tissue lehenga, or let it be the colour in an otherwise quiet look. The satin face of gajji silk gives every dot depth and gloss.
