PRODUCT DETAILS

Fabric: Pure kora silk/organza

Kora silk is a lightweight, airy, and soft fabric made from silk fibers that have not been degummed. It is a popular choice for summer garments, such as sarees, dupattas, and kurtas. Kora silk is also a sustainable fabric, as the degumming process requires the use of harsh chemicals.

Characteristics of Kora Silk:

Lightweight and airy
Soft and crisp texture
Sheer and elegant
Durable and long-lasting
Sustainable fabric

The Weaving Technique

The cutwork weave technique, also known as Jangla, embodies intricate artistry. It involves the intricate weaving of vegetation motifs like creepers, flowers, and birds, reminiscent of a jungle. These exquisite patterns are exclusively woven in gold and silver zari threads on a Jacquard loom, creating an opulent and ornate fabric.
