THE WEAVING TECHNIQUE

Craft: Ajrakh
This saree features authentic Ajrakh hand printing using only natural dyes. The fabric is first imprinted with a resist paste, then dyed repeatedly over several stages to achieve intricate patterns and deep, rich shades of indigo and madder red. The elaborate process can take up to two weeks, resulting in mesmerizing, vibrant designs that are a hallmark of true Ajrakh artistry.
