Handwoven Kota Silk Ajrakh Dupatta in Olive Grey and Mustard

Handwoven in Kota silk and hand block printed in the ajrakh tradition, this dupatta carries a scattered star flower booti in mustard and black on a muted olive grey ground. A printed vine border runs along the length, finished with a fine antique gold zari edge.

The pallu builds in layered bands: a floral vine with dotted outlines, a diamond lattice with ivory scrollwork on a charcoal ground, a finer lattice in mustard and ivory, and a closing row of lantern medallions in black on mustard. A plain olive grey end completes the piece.

Ajrakh traces back to Sindh and Kutch, where cloth passes through repeated rounds of resist printing and dyeing before the pattern fully emerges. On light, sheer Kota handloom, the geometry looks softer than it does on heavy cotton, and the fabric stays airy in warm weather.

Wear it with a solid black or ivory kurta, or pick up the mustard in the print with a matching set.
