The dupatta features a dense jaal of birds and flowering trees handwoven across a mulberry purple ground. Bulbuls, cranes and flying birds appear among branches and fan palms, worked in zari in gold and silver tones. Broad zari borders with a fine jangla texture frame the body and the pallu carries the same golden finish.
The dupatta is handwoven in katan silk in Varanasi. The fabric has a smooth, lustrous surface and a graceful fall that drapes well over both silk and cotton outfits.
The all over zari work makes this dupatta the centrepiece of an outfit. Pair it with plain silk or cotton in ivory, black or deep purple for festive gatherings, weddings and evening occasions.
Dry clean only. Store folded in soft muslin away from direct light and humidity.
