PRODUCT DETAILS

Fabric: Chinon Crepe
Chinon crepe is a soft, lightweight fabric with a subtle sheen and smooth texture. Known for its graceful fall and elegant drape, it offers both comfort and sophistication—making it ideal for fine embroidery and festive wear.

The Weaving Technique

Machine Aari Embroidery – Tradition with Efficiency

What It Is:
Machine Aari embroidery is a modern adaptation of the traditional Aari handwork, using a mechanized version of the hooked needle technique. It mimics the chain-stitch style of hand Aari but is done using a sewing machine fitted with an aari or tambour-style needle.

Technique:

The fabric is mounted on a frame (adda) to keep it taut.

A skilled artisan operates the machine manually, guiding the fabric with one hand while turning the handle with the other to create the continuous chain stitches.

Though mechanized, it still requires dexterity and precision—it's not fully automated like industrial embroidery.
