Georgette Bandhani Banarasi Dupatta

Jaal's work is inherent to Banarasi weaving, and this dupatta is the epitome of the craftsmanship of the renowned weavers of Banaras. 

Fabric - Pure Georgette Silk - Georgette is a lightweight, crinkled, sheer fabric that displays an overall bouncy look. A strong absorbent, Georgette is easy to dye and has a dull-rough texture. Georgette is made from twisting yarns of silk. 

Color - Green & Grey  

Weave: Bandhani, derived from the Sanskrit word Banda which means “to tie,” is truly an art that involves dyeing a fabric tied tightly with a thread at several points, producing a variety of patterns and then dyed with extraordinary colors.
